Conveying technology: running. And running. And running.
A conveyor drive never works alone: the entire material chain hangs behind it. We design gearboxes for belts, bucket elevators and cranes around continuous duty, safe starting under a full burden and low energy costs — and keep them running in service.
- availability first
- efficient in continuous operation
- starting under load
If the belt stops, the whole line stops.
When a single belt drive fails, it is not one conveyor that stops — it is everything behind it: loading, processing, production. Add continuous duty without pause, starting under a full burden, and dust, moisture and weather out on the plant.
- One single drive shuts down the entire conveyor line
- Starting under full load and burden
- Continuous operation with high energy costs
- Dust, moisture and outdoor installation
Drives that keep moving.
We design conveyor drives for availability, starting behaviour and efficiency — and keep them running with brand-independent service.
Designed for availability
Robust design with reserves for starting under load — so the belt starts up again even when fully loaded.
Efficient in continuous operation
High efficiency noticeably reduces energy costs over the long running times of continuous conveyors.
Service for high plant availability
Brand-independent maintenance, spare parts and emergency response — so a drive failure does not paralyse the whole line.
Where we are at work.
For everything that moves material continuously and safely from A to B.
- Belt conveyors
- Bucket elevators
- Chain and apron conveyors
- Harbour, gantry and loading cranes
- Screw and drag-chain conveyors
- Sorting and distribution systems
- Roller conveyors and unit-load conveyors
- High-bay warehouses and order-picking technology
The knowledge behind the design.
What matters for conveyor drives:
- reserves for starting under a fully loaded belt,
- high efficiency in continuous operation,
- availability — one drive stops the entire line,
- protection against dust, moisture and outdoor installation.
Starting torque sizes the design
A fully loaded belt or bucket elevator must start from standstill. We design with sufficient starting torque, so the drive reliably ramps up again even under load.
Efficiency cuts energy costs
Especially in plants running continuously, even a few percent of losses add up. High efficiency is therefore a direct cost advantage.
Short response times
Brand-independent maintenance, spare parts and emergency response keep downtime of the conveyor line as short as possible.
Efficiency η
The share of input power that arrives at the output as usable power. In multi-stage gearboxes, the stage efficiencies multiply — every percentage point counts in continuous operation.
Service factor KA
A safety margin that accounts for the shock and overload character of the application. Shock-loaded drives (e.g. crushers, shears) require a significantly higher factor than uniformly running machines.
Lubrication & sealing
Lubricant film, viscosity, lubricant selection and sealing concept determine service life and maintenance effort — matched to speed, temperature, mounting position and ambient conditions.
Retrofit
Modernisation or general overhaul of an existing drive instead of buying new — often with an improved design and shorter delivery time.
Drives for Conveying Technology & Material Transport — designed, built and tested in Marchtrenk, Austria.
Your partner for Conveying Technology & Material Transport.
Designed for your load profile
We calculate every gearbox on the actual load spectrum and the real operating conditions of your plant — not merely on a theoretical nominal rating.
Brand-independent service
We maintain, repair and replace gearboxes from all manufacturers — including reverse engineering of legacy equipment and spare parts to original dimensions or with an improved design.
Fast support when it matters most
Downtime does not keep office hours. Our service hotline is staffed around the clock — we assess the situation, agree the next steps with you and dispatch our service technicians right away.
Engineering from Austria
Design, manufacturing and service from a single source in Marchtrenk — since 1995. Short paths, dedicated contacts, full responsibility for the result.
Frequently asked questions.
/ 01Can your drives handle starting under full load?+
Yes. We design conveyor drives with sufficient reserves for the starting torque, so even a fully loaded belt or bucket elevator reliably starts up again./ 02How important is efficiency in conveyor drives?+
Very important: continuous conveyors often run around the clock, so even a few percent of efficiency loss adds up to substantial energy costs. We design for high efficiency accordingly./ 03Can you replace defective conveyor drives at short notice?+
Yes, brand-independently. Through our emergency service and spare-parts manufacture, we keep downtime of your conveyor line as short as possible.
So your line never comes to a halt.
Tell us the conveyed material, load and operating mode — we design the drive that starts fully loaded and saves money in continuous operation.
